What a busy week we have had in Nursery this week! In topic, we have been observing our caterpillars as they grow and begin to change into butterflies. We have been learning all about the life cycle of a caterpillar and reading the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Our caterpillars have grown lots, and some are beginning to form their chrysalis’! In maths we have been learning about different 2D shapes and have been going on shape walks around the school to see which shapes we can find in the environment. We have also begun working towards our 11 before 11 goal which is to do ten good deeds in ten days! We have been making cards to give to loved ones, crafting flowers to deliver to members of staff, decorating cakes for our Friday cake sale and doing a litter pick around the school. Well done Nursery, we can’t wait for more exciting activities next week!
