It’s been another busy week in year 2! Well done for your dedication and enthusiasm toward your learning. In Maths, we have continued our topic on addition and subtracting while crossing ten. We have enjoyed drawing out our answers and using the resources to help us solve the number sentences. In English, we have all learned about diary entries and the toolkit that we need in order to write a diary entry. We continue to read about Claude and all his adventures with Sir Bobblysock in our reading unit. We have been exploring lots of new vocabulary and are developing our retrieval skills to find information from the text. In Science we had a lot of fun learning all about different fabrics and being able to sort the different fabrics into categories using a venn diagram. Who knew there could be so many different types of fabric that could be used for different things?!
